
Cuba participates in Belarus International Health Fair
Havana, April 17 (RHC) The Cuban diplomatic mission in Belarus attended the opening ceremony of the 30th edition of the Minsk International Health Fair, as reported by the ambassador of the Caribbean island to Belarus, Santiago Pérez.
Pérez held meetings with representatives of the Belarusian pharmaceutical and healthcare industries at the exhibition, and expressed his admiration for the advancements made in these fields.
The diplomat announced the decision of the Cuban Medicines, Equipment and Medical Devices Regulatory Authority (CECMED), to grant temporary registration for two years to 46 Belarusian medicines produced by Belmedpreparati, Borimed, and MinskIntercaps, all of which are part of the Pharmprom holding company.
Similarly, the CECMED granted registration to Adacadempharm, which collaborates with Medsol Laboratories, a subsidiary of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Group, BioCubaFarma.
The ambassador informed his Belarusian counterpart that the International Medicines Exhibition and the Health for All event, organized by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, will take place in Havana from April 21 to 25.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the ties in this area between the two nations are flourishing and will be addressed at the Cuba-Belarus international joint meeting in May. (Source: Prensa Latina)
